Education Philosophy
Erin is passionate about students having creativity, choice and voice, and building classroom community. On any given day, you can find her at her student’s recitals, games, or at their homes visiting their families. Erin is committed to building lasting relationships with her students. She also believes that every student learns in his/her own way and it is her joy to be able to create lessons and experiences to nurture every student’s abilities.
When Erin isn’t teaching, you’ll find her:
- Snuggling with her 2 dogs and cat on the couch watching Friends reruns
- Reading books with her daughter, Bellamy
- Shopping at Target
- Crafting and making a mess
She currently lives in Southeast Georgia with her daughter Bellamy, two dogs, and her cat.
