Guess What day it is….. Why Wednesday! Whoop Whoop 🙂
Sorry, ya’ll I just had too 😉
I will be the first to admit, I am not that organized, however that does not stop me from teaching my littles how to be organized. My favorite way that I organize is my group organization station!
In the caddy, they store scissors, gluesticks, and pencil sliders that hold pencils and crayons. Inside the drawers are T.R.E.A.T. binders that I made (hopefully on TPT soon), Journals, and Math manipulatives. There is also a trash can behind it, so that all the students can reach it!
I use a crate to elevate the trash can. Each group has one, and at the end of the day, the clean up crew takes the trash out to our large trash can in the bathroom.
Another thing that keeps me organized is using these Monday – Friday drawers. It is the only thing that isn’t “my” colors, because I can not live without it. All my resources go in there for the week. Its large, and can hold manipulatives and other items as well. I also have my “Grade, Copy, File” drawers on my desk, and that and my Erin Condren planner keep me organized for the week!
My last organization Item for you is my favorite new “old” piece that I found thrift store shopping. I actually paid a good bit for it, but the money went to breast cancer research so I felt it was justified. I painted it and added cute knobs from hobby lobby (when they were 50 percent off). It is my “Turn it In” station. Last year, my pink basket went everywhere. The kids were always searching to find where to turn in their papers. This helps me stay organized and them! Underneath, I keep their writing portfolios we use for the county.
Thanks for stopping by! Link up with Blog Hoppin to show your organization!
